it's rare to see a Mopar wagon, especially from the past 25 years

I'm not sure what's under the hood, I don't think I even have a good guess... but the door handles prove it's a cool 2 door from the right era, and that's good enough

the 2X LeMans 24 Hours winner and reigning Goodwood Festival of Speed shootout champion Romain Dumas started from the very back in the Galaxie, and advanced to 3rd

in a comic book I came across at Comic Con, was an artist that preferred to draw a 64 Galaxie. How cool is that? The comic book is Handiwork, the story of a cartel hitman that can kill with just a touch.

Ever heard of the Galaxie Sunliner convertible hardtop Starlift, at Bonneville in October of ’62, where Holman Moody equipped it with an experimental FE-based 483 cu-in built by Ford engineering.

It was clocked at 182.19 mph and averaged 163.91 mph for 500 miles, setting a slew of international speed records. 

That's how little it matters to set some speed records. 

But then, so many people were doing the same thing, with so many different vehicles, it simply wasn't very noteworthy and unless it was given a big publicity launch - like the Mormon Meteor, or the Breedlove AMX Javelin, no one heard much about it.
