This probably doesn't need to be repeated, but, for the newer readers that haven't looked through the archives, I dig those old blimps and dirigibles... and enjoy posting them though they might at first seem to have no place on a blog about things that are cool, with wheels
As you can see, they had one wheel. So, that meets my minimum requirement.
Nothing better then Blimps, Dirigibles and Flying Wings!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love your enthusiasm! Have you seen the flying wing coverage in the archives? https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/flying%20wing
DeleteThat doesn't have every post, because I learned of the tag system AFTER I'd been posting for years, so, if you search YB 49 you'll find even more flying wings... and the XB 35, and the others.... so many I can't jusdt remember the designations anymore (I really ought to make time to fix the tag system, but that would really take mo0nths of full time job effort)
And there are a lot of dirigibles, blimps, and Goodyear archive photos on the construction and design of them, and the Zepplins, and the air docks, the masts and at sea ships with masts, and the gondola, and see https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2019/06/those-goodyear-wheels-with-interior.html for a great photo of the goodyear blimp!
Enjoy!
