a forgotten and never mentioned aspect of the WW2 rations, kids were using wagons to haul groceries. They lined up outside grocery stores awaiting customers because tire scarcity and gasoline rationing made their service a necessity

  2. They're shiny and much more flexible than any I remember from the mid-50s up. They sort of take on the shape of the containers inside, and cling to them.

  4. That's a nice wagon in the front of the picture, with the rounded styling and the Streamliner train inspired "Reeves Racer" on the side. It must have been a rare wagon, because I can't find any like it on the internet, after spending way too much time looking.
