if you made it through the 70s and 80s, you'll be fine. Lead paint, leaded gas, 3 wheelers, no car seat, no seat belt, no bike helmet, riding in the back of a truck and drinking from a garden hose. You got this. Just wash your hands
I did not have one of those, my family couldn't afford that stuff, not even the gas to run them. Oh well, I survived. Sure would have been damn cool though, but, yeah, I probably would have ended up in the hospital.
I had a Kawasaki 250 3 wheeler back in 81, great bike because you lock out the back axle for one wheel, made it easier to steer. Lot of fun in the orange groves around our house.
but, yeah, I probably would have ended up in the hospital. Many did. and some may have never made it. Whatever possessed the Japanese motorcycle companies to build these things? What. I forgot. $$$$$$$$$.
I think they were on the right track... this pioneered the atvs that actually made way for the common 4 wheeler of the 90s and after. Those oddball 6 wheelers in the 60s and 70s were evolutionary dead ends, but these Honda 3 wheelers were the start of a really big industry of trail and hunting 4 wheelers that got as much use in the winter as the summer
Good lord, I had a friend that bought one from Motorcycle shop that custom modded it with a Kawasaki H2 750cc 3 cylinder 2 stroke... I've heard rumors I died on it.
My Dad had one-in his 70's. Thankfully it was such a pain to get started the only real harm it did was to his wallet.
