Oddly, though, F7F Tigercat was slightly too late to enter combat during WWII, and the insignias are pre-1947, so this isn't Korean War era, so the scoreboard must represent something other than combat missions.
It could be Korean, that is what I would bet on. They are too damn small to make out, and I just don't have the time to research all the cool stuff I find to get the detail information I'd like to share. Only so many hours in the day!
Nope, not Korean war, no red bars on the national insignia, so it has to be between '45 and '48, well before Korea. I try to help out with the research ;^)
