Deputy Dumbass Carlos Ramos, was relieved of duty following a video showing him tailing a driver too closely, for a LONG time. The Galveston County Sheriff, Jimmy Fullen, called the officer's actions "inappropriate, unacceptable, and inconsistent with the department's standards,"
Hooray for dash cam, and to all asshole cops that think they are immune to punishment for their daily asshole behavior, here's notice... the day is coming faster than you think.
"As soon as she passed, he just swept over into her lane right behind her, and he rode her bumper the entire way," she said. "It was like harassment, and purposefully abusing his power just because she passed him."
Officials said the deputy tailed the driver for an extended period. It is unclear why the deputy was following the driver.
The Galveston County Sheriff's Office identified the deputy as Carlos Ramos.
According to records from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, Ramos has been with the sheriff's office since 2018.

This i respect.... cops vs driver, one on one.... In an effort to catch more drivers illegally using their phones, police in Dunellen New Jersey dressed up in a hunter ghillie camo suit and stood next to an extra-leafy tree, looking for drivers who were holding their phones in violation of a statewide ban.

the rich people around London are pushing for more scrutiny from London Metro Police to bust hooligans... and a Dubai-registered Ferrari Monza SP2, (1 of 499 made, worth 4M), was confiscated because it was uninsured and the driver wasn't properly licsensed

Have you ever been pulled over and the cop goes back to the cruiser, and you’re sitting there waiting…
And then the cop comes back and gives you a warning and tells you to have a good day….???
Well, what happened was that cop definitely dropped your driver's license down the crack in the seat between the center console, and it absolutely took him at least 15 minutes to fish it out.

after two deadly shootings in less than a week, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will pause non-urgent vehicle stops, and maybe, comply with the federal govt use of deadly force policy? The use of body cams?
ICE agents tried to pull over the car of 26-year-old Joan Durán Guerrero, a Colombian national, and the agent shot and killed him. The agents were not wearing body cameras,
ICE agents in Houston attempted to pull Salgado Araujo over agents say he tried to use his van as a weapon,
The Department of Homeland Security's policy says deadly force cannot be used solely to prevent someone from fleeing … unless the person poses a significant threat of death or serious physical harm to the agent or others.
DHS accused Salgado Araujo of weaponizing his car against the ICE officer. In Maine, the agency said Durán Guerrero posed a public safety threat.
But in these cases, there hasn't been video evidence to back up those allegations.
None of the federal immigration agents were wearing body cameras, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
After the shooting of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis in January, DHS vowed to quickly deploy body cameras to federal immigration agents nationwide.
But that hasn't happened.

San Diego PD busted by the city’s police oversight commission, for harassing blacks 4 to 1 compared to whites, or hispanics, or asians
Black drivers stopped for low-level traffic violations in San Diego were more than four times as likely as White drivers to be frisked and more than three times as likely to be subjected to force, according to an analysis presented by the city’s police oversight commission, which is recommending broad restrictions on so-called pretext stops.
At a community forum last weekend, the San Diego Commission on Police Practices unveiled four draft policy recommendations aimed at limiting officers’ ability to use minor equipment and administrative violations — such as broken tail lights, expired registration tags or objects hanging from rearview mirrors — as a basis for investigating unrelated suspected crimes.
Commission investigator Ethan Waterman presented a review of SDPD’s 2024 stop data, the most recent available.
According to Waterman, the department reported 103,463 stops in 2024, including about 24,000 traffic stops involving equipment violations and other non-moving infractions.
Within the low-level stop category, the commission identified significant racial disparities.

THIS is big brother watching, and too many bullies with badges abusing their access to Flock. Greene County, Georgia, deputy arrested after audit shows she used Flock cameras for personal reasons, sheriff says
the cowards in Georgia won't even state what she did, when she repeatedly accessed Flocks database without authorization, illegally.
It's so bad, they had to arrest her, and fire her.
And they will not let us get upset by learning what cops do with unlimited illegal access to Flock.
Former Greene County Deputy Quinsha Goss is facing charges of violating her oath of office and violating the prohibition on law enforcement retaining license plate data obtained from automated license plate recognition systems.
Authorities say an audit of the system on June 30 found that Goss had accessed the system for personal reasons multiple times over a three-month period.Goss' arrest and firing come just a day after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested five police officers in Albany, Georgia, accusing them of misusing their access to that city's Flock Safety System. All five have also been fired.
In June, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office charged and fired two of its supervisors for allegedly misusing the county's system.

Nashville PD was looking out for this Chevelle... told the owner to park next to them during the parade
one of the officers said "That's a sweet ride. Do you want to park where nobody will touch it?"
I said "yes Sir." He said "Follow me."
They led me to a section of the garage where all the police cars were parked and then said "Today you're parking with us! I guarantee you nobody's gonna mess with your Chevelle!!!"

I regretfully report that a USD student has died, killed by a marked cop car, 130 am, on Linda Vista Road between Goshen and Brunner streets.
The estimated cost of the improvements was $111,000.
In order to save money, the improvement to increase pedestrian safety next to a major university was ignored.
The damn city should be sued for ignoring it's duty, and responsibility to safety, after it conducted an investigation of how to prevent pedestrian deaths, and was informed that a crosswalk overpass walking bridge would get students off the road
Hell, the university is also liable IMHO for not insisting that the city build the walking bridge
And HOW does a cop in a cop car STRIKE and kill a person? Probably using a cell phone or the unit laptop... which the state decided wasn't "unsafe" for cops, just illegally unsafe for all the rest of us.
So, yeah, the city of San Diego, the SDPD, and USD, I'd say they all ought to line up across the court room from the plaintiff, and try to weasel out of the jury's focus.
related news item,
In fiscal year 2026 alone, SDPD settlements and judgements reached a record $42 million.
“An SDPD officer was alleged to have visited the home, and contributed to the abuse by directly supplying wooden paddles, not paddle, paddles to the family,”
$30 million went to the family of Konoa Wilson, the 16-year-old shot and killed by a San Diego police officer last year while running from gunfire.
A cop shot Konoa in the back.
SDPD Annual Budget is 32% of San Diego's total General Fund expenditures.
The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) operates on an annual General Fund budget of $703.5 million,
police-related settlements and judgments have average about $42.5 million annually
ACLU data indicates that SDPD payouts are roughly 15 million higher than the settlements paid by all other city departments combined.

someone was watching a lot of movies, and decided to go into production on trackers that cops can shoot your vehicle with, so they don't have to chase it... they just get that tracker on your vehicle, and GPS tracking does the rest
It works by launching a GPS-tracked object using compressed air from the grill of the police car
Then police can back off the pursuit and use the GPS tracker to locate where the vehicle ends up before apprehending the suspect.
This may be a result of state laws that restrict when police can engage in a high-speed pursuit

a moron officer in the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office issued a ticket to a woman for holding a phone in her right hand. She does NOT HAVE A RIGHT HAND. What a damn braindead cop, what a buffoon
The citation, issued Feb. 11 along North Dixie Highway in Lake Worth Beach, accused the driver of violating Florida’s wireless communications while driving law. The case drew widespread attention after the woman posted video of the traffic stop on TikTok, where she questioned the deputy’s claim that he saw a device in her “right hand.”
During the stop, the deputy is heard stating he saw the device in her “right hand.” The woman CLEARLY does not have a right hand, showed him, proved it over and over.
Police, are generally SO FULL OF EGO, and bullies, and UNABLE to back down from mistakes. This dumbass needs a new career where his ego won't get in the way of being PROFESSIONAL.
Making a PUBLIC DEBACLE of what STUPID and INEPT people the police hire and allow to carry a gun, wear a uniform, and drive a cop car, should be mentioned at the beginning of every shift when the police get ready to hit the streets, as ONE THING they should avoid.
Do a job that can be recorded on video, without breaking laws, shooting unarmed people, and making the others in uniform ASHAMED to be in the same job category. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO DEMAND?
when some clown does something this fucking retarded, they get the memes
and this idiot get the police memes 1st!
two brothers under FBI investigation video recorded two Houston police illegally putting a GPS tracking device on their vehicle without a warrant. They got the Texas Rangers on the case
The two brothers who were under FBI investigation captured the incident on video and later provided the footage to the FBI Gang Task Force, and a video of the device, that they removed from their vehicle and attached to a random truck at a nearby gas station (Ha! I love that!)
I like that they got the Texas Rangers to deal with it. There's a right way to do things, and evidently, the Houston police repeatedly did it the illegal way. Lazy? Corrupt?
This was not the first time they had found a tracking device on their vehicle. They said they discovered one on May 4, 2025, and shared photographs it, a device made by LandAirSea Systems, Inc.
So, what can we make of that? The FBI has people under investigation and Houston PD are illegally putting trackers on their vehicle.

And why the hell is Houston PD messing with anyone that the FBI is already investigating?

New York State troopers, dressed as construction workers, issued 94 tickets during an 8-hour enforcement operation in a 55 mph work zone along the New York State Thruway in Herkimer County on Friday.
Speeding accounted for 73% of the citations, with troopers issuing 69 tickets for exceeding the posted limit. The fastest driver was clocked at 79 mph in a 55 mph work zone.
The enforcement effort, called Operation Hard Hat, involved troopers posing as workers within an active construction zone along Interstate 90. The undercover troopers identified violations and radioed uniformed officers in the area to conduct traffic stops.Sunday, May 17, 2026
giving respect where is is earned, this CHP did not waste time clearing the overturned car off the interstate - by using the push bar on the CHP SUV! Finally, I see someone use that for what it was designed for
Anyone else often frustrated by wrecks on the roads that are not moved the hell off the road, out of the way, so traffic can get on to where they are going? Just move the wreck already, there is no point in it sitting in the road!

here's a new one to me
Three Georgia State Patrol troopers who intentionally bumped vehicles or performed other maneuvers to stop vehicles during pursuits sought payouts afterward from the other driver’s insurance, claiming personal injuries to supplement their paychecks, an internal investigation found.
The three troopers and their supervisor were fired for violating Georgia Department of Public Safety policy and ethical standards
After using their patrol vehicles to stop a chase — including a “precision immobilization technique,” or PIT maneuver — the troopers would send crash reports to a specific private attorney who would file a personal injury claim, the department said. Then the troopers would receive money when an insurance company settled out of court.
BUSTED! Fox 8’s NOPD overtime investigation after cameras found two high-paid sergeants at home while timesheets showed they were on the clock for regular shifts.
Fox 8 found thousands of edits tied to the officers’ timesheets, including more than 900 actions on one timesheet under another sergeant’s user ID and more than 1,600 actions on another timesheet under another sergeant’s user ID.
On March 3, March 5, March 8 and March 9, Boone’s timesheets show she was clocked in for her scheduled shift at 6:25 a.m.
On all four days, Fox 8’s camera recorded her leaving home hours after she was on the clock.
On March 8, video shows her leaving her home in uniform at 9:39 a.m., more than three hours after her timesheet showed she was clocked in.
The next day, video showed her walking to her car in uniform around 8:30 a.m., more than two hours after records showed NOPD was paying her.

Colorado troopers pulled over 2,540 drivers for ‘hanging out’ in the left lane and failing to move right while traveling at slower speeds than the flow of traffic, in 2025
The top roadways for traffic stops for “hanging out” in the left lane in 2025 are as follows:
I-70 (962 contacts)
I-25 (564 contacts)
Hwy 50 (297 contacts)
Hwy 160 (190 contacts)
E-470 (149 contacts)
Troopers are reminding drivers that in Colorado, multi-lane roads with a posted speed limit of 65 m.p.h. or greater designate the furthest left lane as the “passing lane.”
