example of how getting the big picture is important....
I though this was a three wheeler, until I found the next photo in a separate gallery
and that is why it's important to see the big picture.

OH NO! London to Brighton run, and a new Ford car smashed the bejeezus out of a 1902 Benz
three modern vehicles were involved, and all 5 people on the Benz were taken to the hospital with injuries
one report says that the Benz had lost brakes, and while heading downhill, one of it's people was hanging off the back trying to ge t it to slow down

1914 Wall Autowheel with period bicycle and supporting paperwork for sale at 5750 British Pounds, and it's eligible for the pre 1915 motorcycle London to Brighton Run!
you probably know, I'm crazy about the brass era stuff that can run in something as specific as the London to Brighton Run, or something that can get into any other year specific races
NZCarNerd reminded me that this sure can't get into the regular London to Brighton... I can only think that a general lack of sleep caused me to not pick up on that when I posted it.
The London-Brighton run this one is eligible for is the motorcycle event, The Pioneer Run for pre 1915 motorcycles, which is organised by the Sunbeam Motor Cycle Club - http://www.sunbeam-mcc.co.uk/calendar/detail/?id=170 - and not the more well known event for pre 1905 vehicles run by the RAC - http://www.veterancarrun.com/event-info
Another thing I can't remember, is if NZ Car Nerd is a Steve, Mark, or Mike... so... please, fill in the "about me" on your Google page bio everyone! Not many people will ever look at it, (only 43 people looked at NZCNs profile, so, I can assure you all, not a single person more will ever know the truth than already does... as it's a big internet, and no one seems to be looking around to discover our names, just goofballs like me that appreciate the commentary help on my mistakes, and want to actually thank you by name, but I can't remember names for the love of god... I can usually remember car stuff though. (except in this case, apparently)

In 1931 Henry Ford considered a plan to build a major Ford manufacturing plant in Italy, actively encouraged by Mussolini. Fiat seemed to have had the power to stop that though
Historically significant, the 1901 Isotta Fraschini is chassis number one, the very first car to wear the famous ‘IF’ badge. At that time the Milan-based company, which had been started by Cesare Isotta and brothers Vincenzo, Antonio and Oreste Fraschini, assembled and sold Renault cars in Italy.
As part of the incentives offered, Mussolini “encouraged” Isotto Fraschini to donate the first car they produced to Ford’s museum (opened in 1929).
As soon as Fiat got wind of this plan to install one of their major rivals in Italy the scheme was halted in its tracks.
The car sat in the Ford museum until Italy declared war on the USA following Pearl Harbor. It was removed from display and lost in a storage unit for over half a century, and finally sold in the 1980s.
In 2014, however, it was bought by an Italian collector who made sure the chassis came home after 83 years away. Aside from getting the engine to run after decades of silence, the car has not been restored in any way. It remains a rolling chassis and wears ‘the coat of time’ according to its owner.
So that it can be driven on the Run, however, it has been fitted with a pair of wicker seats mounted on a removable frame allowing it to be quickly returned to its original state. Ben Cussons, Chairman of the Veteran Car Run Steering Group, said: ‘This is a truly remarkable machine. The very first Isotta Fraschini ever built, it is exactly as it left the factory 114 years ago. It has never before been seen in the UK, so its appearance on this year’s Run is something very special indeed.’

Genevieve, the movie about the London to Brighton run
the movie is about a guy with a wonderful wife, and she has been putting up with his annual run in the London to Brighton event, and this time, he bets the family savings that he will beat his old pal, the guy in the yellow 1904 Spyker, that his 1905 Darraq will finish first between the two of them
this red car giving a tow? It's actually an Allard
How cool is the 3 wheeler with the red dress wearing passenger in front?
and how cool is this little kids 3 wheeler? Looks like a compartment on the step area I'm familiar with
