In fact, because of the vastness of this market, a new phrase was born: "fits to a T"

Today's trivia that I've never heard of before, and only just learned of:
In the early days of motoring in the USA, one of the most popular cars was the Ford Model T. As were so many T's in comparison to other vehicles, the aftermarket manufacturers concentrated on accessories and "improvements" for the Model T.

interesting milkman's delivery truck
Notice the area between the cab, and the painting of the cow... there is a really big milk can, 50 gallons or so, just a guess.
Really nice lettering

Ellie the model T girl! There is hope for the future of model t's when people this young are enthusiastically experiencing driving T speedsters. Damn shame it's as expensive to make one as it is to buy a weatherproof commuter with AC, air bags, and anti lock brakes
She worked to get the car running and built a racer body... Shortly after getting her driver's license, she started to drive her T racer to school.
This fall at the Ogunquit beach auto show she took the peoples choice award of 2nd place out of 245 cars in attendance

“The 1930 Moonshine Explosion” Rocky Mount, Virginia
a "salesman" pulled into the Turner Motor Company dealership garage fully loaded with “illegal liquor”.
He explained he was having some car trouble. The mechanics decided to let the car cool down while they went home for dinner.
While they were away, the car, which was carrying a full load of illegal liquor, caught fire and sparked an explosion that burned through the floor. Remnants of the vehicles remain in the basement today.

The flooring and walls were rebuilt, leaving the vehicles untouched in the basement for 85 years. They were discovered during basement renovations.

very impressive how simple a model t was, and how cool it would be for a high school or college project to remake it with new wood, and then refurb all the metal parts
Probably only worth 2k. Maybe less. I haven't looked at the Model T Facebook page in a while, but, the ones that are in good running condition, because there are SO DAMN MANY still on the road, seem to go for around 5k

A couple others, because the one above got me wondering if photos were online of others. Not so much I found out.
