why not just fix up the 120 yr ol Road King grader and make it more useful than just another piece of yard art?

I haven't seen a tractor mounted grader since I stumbled across the Fordson Wehr... so this Oliver 70 with a Henke is a unusual thing to see

Marty in New Zealand is very remarkable. Living off the grid, he's fixed, repaired, and improved so many things on You Tube videos.

He has a couple videos on this grader, he got cheap, fixed a bunch of stuff on it too.

Not a lot of imagination went into building this grader. It appears to be a direct knock off of a Caterpillar #12 of the 1950's, presumably done so that they could bid against Cat on government spec bids and meet the spec's which were often written to attempt to exclude anything except a Cat grader.

the largest earth moving grader ever made, the ACCO Grader

Learned of it on http://semitrckn.tumblr.com/ but the images are originally from  http://www.vincelewis.net/accograder.html  and all the known info about it can also be read there.

In a nutshell, an Italian company, ACCO, made this for Libya, but due to political issues it was never delivered, and wasted away for 30 years in Italy, until eventually, they got tired of storing it and dismantled it.

Weighing 160 tons, it had 2 engines, a 1000 hp in back, and a 700 hp in front, and the dual tires were needed to support the weight. The blade was 30 feet wide

Champion grader on crawler tracks based on the McCormick Deering Trackson Model 20. According to the author of Everything for the Roadmaker, these units never became popular as they were expensive to make and were difficult to handle in snow and ice.
