Just imagine if you used a van like a Sprinter, which is designed to this kind of work, instead of stupid american pick up truck.
You could have a fully kitted workshop on the back of the van, in which you can stand up inside, and still have more space and capacity to carry your stuff, protected from weather, on the back of it, with a floor at much lower height.
All at the same or smaller vehicle footprint, with 4x4 options also available.
Just imagine, never having your tools stolen because your Sprinter is obviously a mobile tool storage unit, and the truck looks like every other truck, with zero indication that it's storing a couple thousand dollars of gear under the fake back seat when he's home, or usign the truck to get to the mall, or run errands, and doesn't have the Milwaukee stackable in it. But a Sprinter? Everyone knows the only reason you can't see into vans, is so the lazy thieves won't take a chance breaking into an empty one. Most, are worth breaking into, and that's why so many tools are for sale on Marketplace, Offer Up, and swap meets
It's a shame those rear doors don't open a full 90 degrees.
