Ready to get fired up? How about a hotel putting up unauthorized and illegal signs on city streets, then towing peoples cars? $450 to get your car out of illegal impound, and the city police? Don't arrest the tow truck company people, nor the hotel people

Both signs are unauthorized, according to Wilmington Mayor's Deputy Chief of Staff John Rago.

Rago said the city's Department of Public Works is investigating the signage and will remove them "if necessary."

"There can't be signs installed around the city having to do with traffic flow or parking regulations without the authorization of the city of Wilmington, and these sign were not authorized by the city,"

SO, my question, is why the hell aren't the police arresting people for illegal acts like posting signs on city streets without city authorization, arresting the tow truck company for grand theft auto, extortion, etc?

WTF happened to serve and PROTECT? Are the Wilmington police unaware of the job responsibilities? Serve the public, right?

How the hell does the mayor of Wilmington Delaware let shit like this happen, and not give a damn? When cops will happily ruin the day of anyone parking illegally for a minute past the parking meter, how the hell can they ignore someone venturing into their territory with illegal towing?

Something about this "hear no, speak no, see no evil" ignorance from the city hall stinks like collusion with the Marriot Residence Inn.
