ReplyDeletethe company I work for is always hiring excavator operators, and its very hard to find people who want to do it, and who have the ability.
the problem is the money, these jobs pay good money starting out, but like truck driving, you never get a raise, because there is NO room for advancement. if youre an accountant, you can always get promoted to department manager if you have the talent. but in heavy equipment and trucking, there is no department manager position that you can move up to, that position always requires a college degree.
