As if the dual tires kicking up rocks to bust your windshield was not enough reason to not follow behind big trucks, I think ought to convince all the people who ignore rock damage that following work trucks, construction trucks, and cargo trucks to avoid staying behind them

preventing problems from happening to you is all up to you. You can't tell how effective you are until you've failed to prevent something obvious

  1. "preventing problems from happening to you is all up to you. You can't tell how effective you are until you've failed to prevent something obvious" Directed to the truck drivers who do not secure their loads.

  2. good point Jack... I hadn't thought of it from that direction, but, truck drivers who fail to prevent problems are causing, not preventing, some problem from happening to other people. Not to themselves. We all know that people suck, and most people who cause problems won't take the honorable decision to be responsible for it. Hell, it's hard enough to find people who cause problems WITH insurance!
