I did not see this coming

  1. Plenty of similar old pickups exist, and were used to haul wheat, milo, etc. to the CO-OP grain elevators. Either you had a dump bed, or they had a lift at the elevator that lifted the whole front of the truck or wagon up to unload the grain quickly.

    1. I've seen semis and their trailers on those. I posted this because it's quite a surprise to me to see this have a dump bed, when it only appears to be a truck

  2. That knob sticking way out of the dash in the second photo engages PTO in order to drive the pump for the dump bed. The process would be, stop, put it in neutral, set the parking brake, step on the clutch, engage the PTO, let out the clutch rev the engine a bit, then hit the up/down switch for the box and watch everything fall out the back.
