Ford has begun work on making their 90 million dollar purchase of the Michigan Central Station train depot turn into a nice office building

The budget is 350 million to make this Ford's new tech campus. Why they need to do this when all they plan to produce is the Mustang, and trucks... something I can't imagine they need a lot of help with, nor R and D...
