here's my struggle with trying to buy the MSD 6AL (thanks to Bruce's generosity!) for the least amount, without wasting money

it's getting close to Black Friday, and Cyber Monday... so those might cause a sale price to happen

It's also Holley Sales days from now til New Years Eve, if that results in a discount, we'll soon see.

But then there's Amazon regular price which is already better than the normal price from MSD / Holley (their corporate overlord)

Now, Amazon has free shipping, and Holley does too.

Holley raised their price from last weeks 262 dollars for this, then applied the "Holley Days" sale discount, and so, it's 242 dollars. Let me be clear, they raised the price, then, they gave the holiday price. Is it cheaper than last week? Yes. Is it more than you'd pay if they hadn't raised the price and then applied the sale discount? Yes.

Friends, that is some flim flammery. AND IT STILL COSTS MORE THAN AMAZON!

Anyway, I still want to check prices on Jegs, Summit, etc.
