After a full season of competition, nearly 100 vehicles qualified for the 2018 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational, and about a dozen won "golden tickets" ala Willy Wonka's winning tickets to tour the chocolate factory
Mike DuSold 1967 Chevrolet Camaro 492 To no ones surprise, except Ken Thwaits

Austin Barnes 2010 Dodge Viper 483 quite a surprise, few Vipers have competed, and this is the only one I recall whipping Corvettes in points or ever coming in 2nd over all!
Ken Thwaits 2006 Mitsubishi Evo 481 Competeing in the OUSCI since 2014 I think he won last year, if not he must have been close, he's competed for a couple years, in this Mistubishi and a Camaro I believe https://www.optimabatteries.com/en-us/experience/2018/01/osusc-feature-ken-thwaits
Danny Popp 2003 Chevrolet Corvette 480 overall winner for a couple of years, the expert at this race series https://www.optimabatteries.com/en-us/experience/2018/01/osusc-feature-Danny-popp
and surprise! The rest of the top ten were all Corvettes, really, that's proof that per dollar, there really are no competitors in their class when stock, or slightly modified. Dusold's Camaro does not have much factory material, but ahell of a lot of real highly developed race specific race car, with a skin that looks Camaro over it.
Jake Rozelle 2003 Chevrolet Corvette 463
Jordan Priestley 2017 Chevrolet Corvette 463
Eric Fleming 2016 Chevrolet Corvette 448
Brian Hobaugh 2003 Chevrolet Corvette 444
Duke Langley 2002 Chevrolet Corvette 437
Jeremy Swenson 2011 Chevrolet Corvette 432
