Mopar is bringing back the Super Bee! On the 60th anniversary of the Charger, they released the news that the new Charger will be available with 600Hp from a twin turbo inline 6 - they call it the 2027 Charger Sixpack Super Bee in Launch Edition spec
The Canadian Police recovered 392 stolen vehicles worth an estimated $28 million before overseas export from Canadian ports. The recoveries occurred in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
Project NoCargo began in June 2025 after investigators identified a growing export-fraud threat. The program targets organized crime networks using stolen or manufactured identities. Those credentials can secure vehicle loans and insurance policies. Criminals then attempt to ship the fraudulently obtained vehicles overseas.
INTERPOL Ottawa identified the trend during 2025, according to the RCMP. Criminal networks used compromised or fabricated personal information to purchase vehicles. They also used those credentials to obtain insurance coverage.
The CBSA intercepted 1,590 stolen vehicles in rail yards and ports during 2025.

Ford is joining a handful of other corporations - including Google, BlackRock, and Carhartt - to form what the group calls the Alliance for America’s Skilled Trades. This new alliance has three specific goals in mind - to build a jobs pipeline for skilled trades, highlight what's working across the country - including the launch of a Skilled Trades Report - and grow the movement moving forward by adding additional partners.
"This Alliance began with companies sharing what works and applying insights from effective programs," Farley said. "By bringing together the collective know-how of these four companies, this Alliance can reach more people interested in skilled trades in more places. One proven approach is investing in apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs, which create opportunities to earn and learn on the job while receiving sustained mentorship. For many, apprenticeships are a vital option that allows them to gain critical new skills and economic mobility - all without four-year college debt."
The Alliance for America's Skilled Trades will work to help fill the hundreds of thousands of open skilled trades jobs that exist at the moment, creating good careers for people in industries where there are high demand for such things. It plans to begin rolling out training efforts in 30 U.S. states to start, which will soon expand to cover the entire nation.

Federal legislation to create a uniform reciprocity law has been introduced multiple times in the last 10 years alone. Each time, the bill failed. Two truck drivers decided to tackle the problem in court.
Last January, interstate truck drivers David McCoy II and Jeffrey Johnson Sr. filed a federal lawsuit against Minnesota. They claim the state’s concealed-carry reciprocity gun law violates their Second Amendment rights.
McCoy has a concealed-carry permit from Texas. Johnson holds permits from Florida and Georgia. At the time the lawsuit was filed, Minnesota did not recognize any of these permits. Consequently, both drivers had to lock up their guns before entering Minnesota or risk charges.
“Minnesota’s failure to honor lawfully issued firearm permits from all states places an unreasonable burden on plaintiffs’ Second Amendment right to bear arms,” the lawsuit states. “Individuals do not lose their constitutional rights simply by crossing into another state. The United States has charged seven Chinese executives and four of the world’s biggest shipping container manufacturers with fixing prices and restricting the global supply of shipping containers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said the companies controlled about 95% of the world’s standard dry shipping container production and worked together between November 2019 and January 2024 to limit output and raise prices.

According to the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), tow companies are required to obtain a court order before selling or disposing of a vehicle owned by an SCRA-protected servicemember.
In May 2024, a Military Legal Assistance attorney contacted S&K Towing and explained that the company was violating the SCRA. In response, a manager at S&K Towing told the attorney, "We do this all the time."
Between August 2020 and April 2025, S&K Towing Inc illegally sold or disposed of nearly 150 vehicles, many of which were registered to Camp Pendleton addresses. In other cases, vehicles were auctioned even after they were told that the owner was in the military.
S&K Towing will pay $160,000 to servicemembers who were affected by the illegal towing and auctioning of their vehicles.
"This settlement sends a strong message that all towing companies must recognize servicemembers' rights and take the necessary steps to comply with the SCRA," Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division said in a news release.

In an unusual experiment born from the lessons of two decades of war in the Middle East, TRICARE health insurance will test a program paying ambulance providers separately for blood transfusions, reimbursing civilian ambulances for blood provided to those needing life-saving intervention prior to reaching the hospital
The Defense Health Agency's five-year TRICARE demonstration project, which is scheduled to begin in January, will reimburse authorized ground and air ambulance providers that administer "medically necessary" whole blood or blood components, such as red blood cells or plasma, to military personnel, family members, and retirees, according to a recent government posting.
If the experiment proves effective, it could help address a major barrier to carrying blood on ambulances, potentially convincing insurers to adopt new payment models that reduce the cost burdens for providers for life-saving interventions.

Project Reconecta installed eight rope bridges in a municipality in Brazil, and a 15-month study used camera traps to document thousands of arboreal wildlife adapting to new aerial crossings.
Reconecta’s creator, biologist Fernanda Abra, a National Geographic Explorer and winner of the Whitley Award, is now expanding these low-cost conservation tools to other Brazilian biomes and neighboring Suriname.
