Here's a quick look at the La Mesa cruise, every Thursday night from June through August they cruise up and down main st, and crowd the restaurants downtown, because the streetside tables and chairs are really nice to watch the cruising cars from

it's about half as busy as it was 23 years ago, it used to continue on the other side of Spring St, but not today. 

I like finding original stickers and decals, they were ubiquitous, but now that nearly every car they were ever on has been destroyed, you might be looking at the only surviving example

tonight was the La Mesa cruise, and I haven't been to it in a dozen years or so. It's on the same street as the original train depot, they restored it's exterior and parked a train there for the tourists
