imagine getting a wagon in the 70s... when you were a teen, so you could get all your friends into the drive in movies, haul some band gear, and everything needed for a day's fun at the lake with your friends at a picnic.

it's rare to see a Mopar wagon, especially from the past 25 years

I'm not sure what's under the hood, I don't think I even have a good guess... but the door handles prove it's a cool 2 door from the right era, and that's good enough

This is odd, How does it make any sense to go putting money under kick plates, on a relatively boring car, a '72 Satellite along with your name, when building a car on the assembly line?

Ford supercharged '57 Ford Custom two-door station wagons, 100 of them, for Nascar, and they could rip off a 13.7 1/4 mile... but then NASCAR changed rules to only allow a four-barrel carb early in '57, with the AMA ban on factory-supported racing coming shortly after.

For the 1957 season, the Blue Oval decided upon a supercharged 312 Y-Block V8, which would come to be known as the F-Code, on account of the fact the first digit of the VIN on these cars is an 'F'. These cars could be ordered with a McCulloch/Paxton VR57 centrifugal supercharger. Interestingly, Ford made this mill available across the range, including the innocent-looking Country Sedan wagon. Other models from '57 that were fitted with the unit included the elegant Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner and the Thunderbird.
