great pic (the hammer is a great detail:) The hole beneath the door in the rockerpanel is a jacking point. When you look closely you can see a part of the stand on the other side (above the right arm of the mechanic underneath the car). Mercedes kept these jacking points up till the 90s. They are well know for rotting away...
