ever heard of a 432 Fairlady Z?

Larry Chen, in Tokyo, gathered a half dozen Nissans, and this was the only left hand drive from the USA

  1. Basically the HOLY GRAIL for Datsun nerds. Only Datsun to break $1million. Twin cam cross flow engine we never got in the states only 430 versions built. Modern variants from Datsunworks, OS Giken, and know NISMO offer bolt on to base L series block. Really spices up the Z, it sounds like an early Italian rather than Japanese.

  2. The "432" refers to its 4 valves per cylinder, 3 carburetors, and 2 camshafts. Like a Japanese 442.

    1. Oh hell.. how has that not come up? I like those obvious but clever model numbers. 442 was great marketing. Mopar using "6 pack" was simply brilliant, in that era of young beer drinkers.
