ain't nothing wrong with being military, even drafted by the country (though slavery is utterly wrong) and killing the enemy your country tells you is either going to be killed by you, or will kill you unless you're faster, better, and shoot straighter. If that's avoidable, then you go ahead and spell it out so no more working class guys get drafted every time some other country rattles their missiles and swords, and aims them in our direction. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, what exactly was the action you would have taken? When the Mexicans overran the Alamo, what would you have planned to prevent the massacre? When the Nazi's sent subs into New York Harbor? What would you have told everyone to do? Ignore all that and smoke a bowl? Surrender? And yes, you can charge the batteries when the grid is down, and the weather turns chilly. Think it over. there's an obvious and easy way.
