Pete the POM Inspector (a POM Inspector was checking to verify that something was "Passed For Overseas Movement" Thanks Steve!)

  1. You may have seen this site already, but it explains a bit more of why this plane was painted so colorfully, and shows a few other very nice "assembly ships." Not much help on what a Pom Inspector might have been, though.

    1. you may have seen this post already, but it explains I've already posted what I consider to be the most thorough and complete article on assembly ships/Judas Planes that is online... anywhere. http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2014/10/judas-goat-bombers-assembly-ships.html
If you didn't, then I hope it causes you to realize I have a lot of archives that are full of things you will enjoy, or find very interesting.
Also, at the bottom of every post is a couple of "tags" to link every post to all similar posts from the past 14 years.
Thanks for the link to Airscapemag, they have better photo sizes of the photos I already had, and that I'll use them to increase the quality of the post from 2014.
      Thank you!

  2. Hmm, in Australia a 'Pom' (more commonly a 'whinging Pom') is known as something entirely different. As the joke goes: "Q: What's the difference between a Pommie jet and a Qantas jet landing at Sydney Airport? A: The Qantas jet stops whining after it has landed."
