Jeremy Clarkson, who biked to lose weight, has recently written a humorous article in The Sun, about how he hates bicycling " "They are just pedaling around to annoy people who've worked hard and bought themselves a car" (lol, what a loveable ol curmudgeon)

Clarkson also insults the clothing that cyclists wear, how they ride on roads shared with those driving cars, and even suggests that most people cycling in major cities aren’t even going anywhere—they’re only out to annoy.

I wonder if the people he annoys with his columns have any clue he does it to wind them up, drive up traffic, and generally amuse himself and his fans with parody of a boor, much like Stephen Colbert did with the show, The Colbert Report. It's an act, so, laugh and enjoy, he's a middle-class liberal who invented a right-wing blokey character to sell columns and TV shows
