I don't know how much fun a person can have with an old race car, unless they have unlimited money, and unlimited access to a nearby race track... but cool old race cars come up for sale a lot, because they pay off huge to the sellers, who in some cases are the original race teams, who have no use for something that has appreciated in value significantly
