I am a car guy, you know that... so, lets not ask questions I can't answer. I might have an answer for the first, because last week I posted about Deere factory colors... and you probably missed it, but, Deere painted with red, yellow, orange, white, gold, and whatever colors I haven't learned of yet http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2022/04/tractor-trivia.html
I apologize if you've already posted this, but I followed the John Deere and lawnmower tags and didn't see anything.
Deere sold these tractors from 1969-1971, with a white frame and engine, and the dealer would install the seat and hood in the color the customer wanted. The advertising seemed to be targeted toward women, although they told the men that they could choose the engine size.
Is it EVEN LEGAL for them not be be Deere Green and Yellow? Can the owner repair these themselves?
