Then there is a car which was a Black Hawk 2p speedster with a HC prefix engine, which was used as a gimmick by a big circus here in Australia. Sometime in about the 1940's it was gutted by fire, and a new hard-top coupe body which had a couple of traces of its origin made by Martin and King in Melbourne. ( They made a lot of Rolls Royce bodies, and their style and craftmanship we do not universally admire.)
By the late 1950's it had sunk through the hierarchy, and a man I know bought it from a clown who had an urgent and expensive thirst.
