The gold colored roadster was owned and built by longtime Denver/central states racer Ody Fellows. The story goes that in the early 60s he moved to SoCal for a while and worked for the likes of Dean Moon, Carrol Shelby, Don Edmunds among others. Its said that he bought the former Brown Motors upright champ car to race at Pikes Peak but ended up using it to build the short track roadster
Ken Gottschalk drove it at Darlington in 1956
