My first "old car" was a 1954 Hudson Jet that I acquired in 1973. I drove it almost daily as I freshened it up. I learned body work and after tramping through a number of junkyards found a Jet with Twin-H Power (dual carbs). I rebuilt that engine and then learned to paint. I didn't spend a lot of money and learned an awful lot in the process.
