This 1940 Dodge 1 Ton Panel truck was donated to the Canadian National Railways by members of the CNR Women's Auxiliary of Stratford Ontario. However since the City of Stratford did not have an ambulance at the time, the CNR ambulance would be used on loan to the community as well. It is shown here when new in front of the local Dodge Desoto Garage with some of the lady volunteers from the auxiliary.
