Austria found that 95% of riders take their turns too close to the centerline. It is trying to solve this by painting ovals near the center line.

    Living in Wisconsin, we have a lot of Harley riders, naturally, and they almost always ride inches away from the centerline. Even on a straight road. Sometimes they are so close their elbows and parts of their bikes are over the line.
    They don't seem to realize that just because their tire is not over the line, that the rest of them isn't.
