making the interior of the ship an oven, baking at around 1000 degrees, and all the cars it carries are melting all their plastic pieces, along with who knows how much other damage to rubber, foams, upholstery, glass, etc. They will be thoroughly junk for a recycler when they get removed
The 2,000 cars on board were all used, not new, vehicles being transported overseas

By used cars are we talking just plain old "used cars"? Or are we talking "classic" and/or "collectible" used cars?
ReplyDeleteyou have to do your own homework on this, I just report the news. I think we can all clearly understand that no one pays to have their car shipped across an ocean unless its a damn good car that they can't easily replace locally for less than the cost of shipping
DeleteI have worked for the boss of this company, and he treated me really well. For sure he is concerned about the crew and all people involved. Its a big blow for the company as the ship will probably in repairs for months. I also hope that nothing really, really, really interesting with 4 wheels was on board.
