While the homeless are still ignored, the city decided to hire contractors to move sand. Instead of paying to fill potholes, the city leadership has this priority.
So, instead of helping people that need it.... the city instead wasted money to prevent skaters from using a public park.

Making that many more people miserable, and making the skaters move to some other place - places a lot closer to old people, who are much higher at risk of dying from this flu virus than young skaters.
No wonder rich people leave when they can, this much stupid is probably contagious, and no one wants to get any on them if they can prevent it.
They did that to a purpose built skateboard park? Time to get some 4wheelers together and do a bunch of donuts on the Mayor's favorite golf course, or pour some portland cement in his swimming pool.
ReplyDeleteSan Clemente did this too, so some kids showed up with dirtbikes to play in the sand, and a guy who makes surfboards set up a blanket and beach chairs because the beaches were closed.
