have you ever heard of Brissonneau and Lotz in Paris? They built the Opel GT bodies

  1. When I was a kid, I had a Siku-made, 1:64 toy Opel GT. I was absolutely in love with it, I took it everywhere with me. But I had no idea it's color is exactly the same as on the real car. This "hard to describe shade of orange". Thanks Jesse, that picture brought back some sweet memories. And you're right, had no idea it is a coachbuilt body. I don't know if you ever seen such car in person, but those are incredibly small. I was very surprised when I first encountered with one.

    1. A friend of mine bought one in high school, because once they had been around 15 years or so, they were used up, rusty, and no one wanted to deal with European car problems, so they were cheap enough for high schoolers, under a thousand bucks.
I was most interested in the headlight lever that rolled them over.
Lol, small? Yes, they sure are. A compact car with Corvette styling
