(NSFW audio! ) At a New Zealand meet up, around zero dark thirty, for noisy street racing ricers, someone with access to a steamroller got pissed and went full mental, plowing into the parked ricers. How much does noisy fart can exhaust piss off drunk old men? This much!

The above pavement roller was used by a drunk 47 year old who freaked out about 100 street racers who used the gravel parking area alongside a paved road to hang out while watching each other street race, to damage 5 cars

A witness to the carnage as the roller was used to damage and push a number of parked cars on Eastern Hutt Rd in Silverstream said a group of car enthusiasts had met at a new subdivision to check out each other's cars and "network".

They were on a public road and were not causing any damage to the area, he said.

"All of a sudden this roller starts up."

He thought someone might have been fooling around with the equipment and went to confront them, but soon realised it was nobody from the car scene when the roller began "ploughing through a Mitsubishi Lancer".

Silverstream, New Zealand, Eastern Hutt Road

Two men were arrested when at about 12:25am Friday night, police arrived and stopped a drunk who was using the steamroller to smash into the gathered street racers. An associate of the man was also arrested for assault.

A couple people were injured by panic and cars fleeing like rats when the lights come on, but nothing serious or life threatening. After all, steam rollers are not fast moving, nor do they accelerate

Another eyewitness said the scene was chaotic during the incident.

"The roller came down the hill, started hitting the cars and it's like this is no joke and everyone just started fleeing. It was total chaos, absolute chaos, it was quite terrifying actually to be honest."

George Robins said there had been some gossip going around that a subdivision development on Eastern Hutt Rd was used for burnouts, and he parked his Lancer some distance away and crossed a paddock to take a closer look, immediately noticing the smell of burnt rubber.

Robins heard a man telling the people gathered to leave and it sounded like the group gathered were being cheeky back, he said.

"I definitely heard him say, 'you need to get out of here'."

People did start scrambling back to their cars, he said.  "I thought, 'I've seen enough, I am out of here',"  walked back to my car and took off.
