A pair of new Ferraris, valued at a combined $625,000, were stolen from a home on Long Island (because the keys were left in them), and a GPS tracker showed them 186 miles away in a notorious warehouse in Worcester Mass, directly north of the CT and RI border

The owner had reported two cars stolen to the Nassau County Police Department on July 13. The cars were a black 2018 Ferrari GTC4Lusso and a black Ferrari Spider. The two cars are worth a combined value of $625,000, the detective wrote.

The vehicles were stolen from the man’s garage. The keys were inside both cars, according to the search warrant affidavit.

The owner had a hidden tracking device on one of the Ferraris, the Lusso. The owner was able to get the GPS coordinates.

Detectives went to 42 Harlow St. in Worcester, the area where the GPS coordinates showed the vehicle’s location, authorities said. A sign on the door of the building identified the business inside as Central Mass Solid Waste.

It wasn’t the first time police had been to that location this year, the detective wrote.

In March, detectives were investigating a report of stolen appliances in the city and found the items at this warehouse
