Gary just brought a sheriff to my attention, who actually treated his subordinates like people when they committed crimes, he fired them. Well, he still didn't arrest them and throw them in jail, like, oh, everyone else in his jurisdiction, but it's a start!

• He is also accused of assaulting at least two inmates (you see what I mean? If I went and assualted two people in his jurisdiction, I'd be arrested. But the asshole working in the sheriff's dept? Nope, he was instead, accused, and investigated, probably while on admin leave)

• arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Involved in an off-duty street brawl and involved in the 2017 hazing scandal.

Prior to the October arrest, Flores was arrested for driving while intoxicated in 2011, but the charge was reduced to obstruction of a highway.  (obstruction of a highway, this is what cops are given instead of DUI. Another bullshit charge is known as "Wet and Reckless"

Sheriff Javier Salazar gets some respect for firing these 7 assholes, but, clearly, they were mostly given special treatment because before they got drunk on duty, or drunk while driving, they 1st became sheriffs deputies, and Lady Justice seems to be pretty sweet on any asshole in a sheriffs uniform, and so is the Sheriff, evidently.

Hey, anytime you only get fired, and not thrown in jail for this shit? You're on a lusky streak as far as I'm concerned. The rest of us mere mortals get arrested, beat up by cops (oh, yes, really, you did read the above where 3 inmates were assaulted, someone was sucker punched by a cop, and a couple people were hazed - to the point were cops got fired. That's cop speak for assault. Plus one more assault by Flores to round that all out to 7 assholes fired, 4 assault charges, at least 2 hazings charges - aka assault, and one sucker punch) That is 7 fired, 7 assaults. THAT is one sheriff dept, in one week, 7 cops that are willing to drink and drive, beat on inmates, beat on rookies, and be all around fuck ups.
Why fuck ups? Because they swore an oath to be professional police, and do a job, where they are promising to abide by all laws, and enforce all laws.
Instead, they knew they were getting immunity from being drunks, and beating on inmates and rookies.
That's your police force in action, in San Antonio Texas, where at least they were fired.

Jesus Christ, does ANYONE know a cop that is professional? Does the job? Isn't a fuck up, an asshole with immunity from prosecution and arrest? Knows what the hell their oath of office is?
