Clarkson Hammonds and May have signed a deal with Amazon Prime, 3 years, 36 episodes, £160 million = £5 million per episode

So... that mystery is solved.

With recent Amazon Prime publicity, this makes sense.

The show will continued to be produced by longtime "Top Gear" producer Andy Wilman, and debuts on Amazon Prime in 2016. Amazon has not yet shared the name of the new car show, which starts production later this year. The current deal calls for three seasons of the online-only car show.

  1. I attended the Clarkson, Hammond and May show last Saturday here in Sydney, Australia. During the show Jeremy Clarkson said that they had signed up to produce a show in America.
