Steve (who is the most incredible researcher!) found out the story on the photo shoot, and the story of the Duesy
the small car is a 1934 DKW F2 Meisterklasse 701
The Duesenberg was originally a 7-seater limousine, coachwork by Willoughby, engine #J-263 (below, as purchased), and was one of two Duesenbergs imported to Sweden in 1930, where it was bought by publisher Erik Åkerlund on February 18, 1930, who promptly took it to the Concours d'Elegance competition at Cannes, then on to Paris where he had the original body was replaced with a 2-door coupe body by Figoni et Falaschi.
