It ran between Ludington and Epworth Heights for several years then was extended to run from Ludington the the southern edge of the Ludington State Park. After it was bought by Sargent Sands it ran from their sand mining operation at the southern end of the State park into Ludington. When it was the "Dummy train" it was a connector for summer families who owned property at Epworth Heights so they could continue by rail to the resort community.
