I wonder what ever happened to the thousands of junked electric bikes they had piles of in Shanghai China? Someone made a drone video of them, skip the first 27 seconds
right, I was focusing on the recent history aspect of the bike fad, that came, went, and resulted in this incredibly huge number of wasted bikes. I realize my post title says I wonder... but, that's sorta rhetorical. I realize they were dealt with. And I came across this video from a news story about the fields full of abandoned electric cars in China. I'm just not going to waste my time explaining all that to make a post, that is far more striking without the preface and disclaimer
There is a "No Place to Place II" video. It says that the bicycles were cleaned up in 2019, but graveyards of shared cars took over after that.
