The engines and F1 cars are in Sydney Australia. I forget the owner's last name, but he's Tony or Big T. He has the contract to supply McDonald's Australia with vegetable produce. Last I spoke to him he was trying to develop his SVX club race car and a Manatee Formula Japan (Subaru EA71 - sohv 1600cc boxer) which is the Japanese equiv of European Formula Ford. The F1 car he has spends a bit of time on display at some. Perhaps you already know but Koenigsegg had considered these engines as the basis for their first cars. The engines weren't actually Subaru built, rather the Japanese funded the engine work which was done by Motori Moderni
And I have it from someone at the Subaru museum that they got shafted by Motori Moderni, who just took the cash and built what they wanted. The only Subaru-related thing on that engine is the boxer format and nothing else
