yes, you might have a well outfitted garage, with lots of tools and test equipment. BUT ! Do you have an ignition tester? Lol, I've never seen one of these before, but darn it, I like it
well, I refuse to try and do anything with new cars. I'm not a computer repairman. So, I focus on old cars, and that's why you don't see any new cars on this blog, unless they are in the news, or the neglected BMW posts
I use mine fairly often. It's a factory GM tool and is labeled "HEI Tester" on the side and has condemned MANY 3.0 and 5.4 Ford ignition coils. I've also counseled friends to make their own by snapping the ground electrode off of an old plug when I'm trying to do phone diagnosis.
My dad had one of these back in the late 70's. I used it a few times.
