yup, the headlights are on, an hour before sunset, AND while parked out front, with no one around, just draining the battery
the only remaining bit of an obsolete system of trash disposal from decades ago
tonight's stalker was this calico
Quite a interesting look for an Isuzu
I think the Hi-Lift jack on the Jeep is just for show. They're not going to get very far off-road with those highway tires.
ReplyDeleteInteresting way to keep the trash can lids from disappearing, but the cans and the other two lids are long gone.
Izuzu made a few unusual vehicles like that VehiCross and the Amigo back in the 90s.
That is an Isuzu Vehi-Cross. they run on the same platform as the Isuzu Amigo/Rodeo. They can be made into a quite capable off-roader.
ReplyDeleteHow do they do trash now in San Diego if not cans, bags or those bins the truck loads?
ReplyDeletethe tin can, Oscar the Grouch style, were the way until the plastic rolling flip hinge lids garbage cans came along. This is the first and only remnant I've seen of the old metal garbage can method, and was worth a photo and comment
DeleteI'm not going to take a photo of the common method that happens today, because the city already did, https://www.sandiego.gov/environmental-services/collection-status here's the blue and black plastic bins. Individual apartments often get these, and apartment buildings often get the dumpsters
