A REAF 50, the first post war car built by in 1950 by the Riga Experimental Automobile Factory. Thank you Sledgehammer 6, Old Tom9, Tokyo Ton, Kim, an Shas for helping on this!
It's called a REAF 50, built in Latvia. Info here: https://drivetribe.com/p/the-reaf-50-a-car-that-may-have-RpdbpRmVQeuXzbu9UIFNvg?iid=J_DpfUkbSwC-z9asdhiOrg
Translations: REAF (REAF)-50. The first post-war Latvian car. Riga Experimental Automobile Factory, REAF. ------------- This unique vehicle is a REAF-50. It was a prototype using local and other Soviet parts. It never made it past the prototype stage as Moscow rejected it due to poor performance, poor fuel economy and difficult maintenance.
More pics here, even of a ragtop, and of an earlier & weirder looking prototype: https://oldconceptcars.com/1930-2004/reaf-1950/#&gid=1&pid=2
My ability to read Cyrillic has waned. I went to the man's web site and scrolled until I found this auto. It is a "Latvian Auto." from what I read. The marque is not designated, neither the year. Having square headlights, we can assume that it is from the 1970's or 1980's. All that stainless steel signifies to me that this was intended for a big shot in the party. Thanks for finding this.
