damn little is known about the tv show at this time, but one of the many characters (mainly a female heavy lead roles, like Buffy) is an inventor. Likely she invents vehicles, steam powered stuff, and Victorian era James Bond gadgets
Set in a Victorian London world where a population of mostly women — suddenly manifest magical abilities, and these people “touched” with powerful abilities are persecuted, and they must find a space for themselves amidst the rigid and sexist Victorian society, with a quick-fisted widow and her best friend inventor leading the way.
They are the champions of this new underclass who set out to make a home for the Touched and make room for those for whom history as we know it has no place.
The Nevers looks to be one of those rare original new shows, though it carries plenty of pop culture inspiration — the HBO series looks like X-Men meets Buffy meets League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Set to debut this April on HBO as well as stream on HBO Max
