These cars were not true performance cars.. However I use to own a valet parking lot at a Golf club in the 80's and one came in. To get a nice tip I had a nice conversation with owner, he told me to give it a 'drive'... I was impressed with the car. No, it couldn't do 6 sec. 0-60 but it handled well for a big car and was comfortable... much like the Z's / T/As, GLH's of the 80's The only real American 'Performer' build in the 80's was the Turbo Grand Nationals
Would rather see photos of the Ford parked next to it.
