The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance's Brake Safety Week enforcement took place in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada from August 23 — 29, 2020 and a total of 43,565 commercial motor vehicles were inspected.

Twelve percent of those vehicles (5,156 CMVs) were placed out of service for brake violations.
