Too much Ugga Dugga? Damn, that right there looks like metal fatigue. I wonder, can that be repaired, merely to have the distinction of a air wrench that you broke, and fixed, and kept using instead of wasting the money on a new one?
Or use some JB weld, put it back together, and if anyone asks to borrow it, have a laugh instantly when it breaks on them, as you know it will, but they don't.
I know the temptation-go and get a new one or have the satisfaction of fixing the old one. I suppose it could be done, its cast aluminum so TIG welding it is out, maybe shape a piece of sheet aluminum to go completely around it, JB weld it and then either hold the sheet in place with rivets or screws. It'd be fund to try-though the pleasure of having a new wrench might over ride that.
This is why their nic-name is "Snap-off." Although, looking at the impact, it's been around the block a few times.
